A PTC, or semiconductor, is a ceramic-based electrical component with temperature-dependent resistance that is used as a heating element.
Resistive wire heating elements are based on traditional wire heating technology and come in a variety of shapes.
- Cartridge heaters are dynamic heating elements for precise heating of solid and liquid containers.
- They consist of a contact PTC heating element in a silicone housing for optimal heat transfer through material expansion.
